Ballet Class

The last ballet class of the month, we finally got to sit in and watch Eliza's class.  Dominic came to see both of the classes too, so the girls were extra excited.

Audrey's class was first.  They have been doing a lot of the same things each week, so no surprise there.  They started in the circle, practicing the different ballet positions, then sat down.  They pointed their toes up and down, and did the butterfly.

For Eliza's class, I was in the absolute worst spot to get any pictures of her.  She stayed next to her friend Asa (in the hot pink) almost the whole class.  Her class is much larger than Audrey's since the ages range from 3 to 5 years old.  They did a lot of the same stuff at the beginning, but different things after that.

When she finally moved where we could see her better, she had her back turned to us.  Oh well, she loves it, and I'm sure we'll get lots more opportunities for pictures.  It was great to see what goes on in her class, especially since Audrey will move up to that one in a couple months.  Since ballet is new to them both, they are at about the same level anyway.  The repetition is great each week, and I've seen some improvement in Audrey.  Eliza told me she needs to practice more at home, and I'm happy to see what they are working on (or her version of it anyway).
