Well we certainly had our fill of Halloween this year. Besides the Lagoon festivities last Sunday, we had five straight days of parades, parties, and fun. We are all worn out!
Thursday, we kicked off the fun with our playgroup Halloween Bash at the park. The girls were excited to see lots and lots of friends, eat lots of yummy snacks, practice trick or treating, and play on the cool pirate ship playground.
Friday started with Eliza's school Halloween parade and classroom party. I was in charge of juice boxes, so the girls and I had fun making them into mummies!
Friday night, we drove up to LA to go to Dom's cousin Dessirree's 7th annual party. It was our first year being able to attend, and it was awesome! Her whole house and yard were dripping with spooky decorations, she even had a spooky shower curtain in the bathroom, which looked like someone had been murdered in there. There was a DJ and lots of family and friends. Richard and Nicole were cave people, and Dom and I were a nut and a bolt.
Saturday morning, I had to get up super early and drive back to San Diego to help set up for Eliza's school carnival. Dom, Lupe, and the girls came down a few hours later to be there.

The girls had so much fun playing lots of carnival games. We had hot dogs, pizza, nachos, and somehow managed to leave without any of the cakes or bake sale items - thank goodness!
That evening, Lupe watched the girls so Dominic and I could attend another "Date Night" party for my mom's group. It was a blast! Karaoke (no I didn't sing), Mexican food, wine, beer... the best part was seeing another side of some of my mommy friends without the kids.
Early Sunday evening was our neighborhood parade. It was even bigger than last year!

This morning, we had another Halloween Bash since our playgroup is so big. Since the group was smaller, we were able to get all the kids together for a group picture. A cameraman from Fox 5 was there shooting video for the weather segment too, so our kiddos made the 6:00 news!

Spooky Pumpkin Bowling was a big hit with all the kids.
This evening, we were all ready to top it all off with trick or treating around our neighborhood.
Eliza and Audrey were excited to go across the drawbridge of the castle again this year.
Eliza was happy when we ran into her friend Alina from school. We didn't know we lived so close to her, and we stuck with her and her parents for a couple blocks.
Our bag of candy was super full by the end of the night, but Eliza was disappointed when it was all over. Audrey rode in the stroller for the last street, and was ready to go home early. They both had fun, and looked so cute in their costumes!
