Our Thanksgiving trip can be summed up with one word - FAMILY. I give thanks for my family, and especially for all my nieces and my nephew. I saw a quote somewhere that says it all, "Grandma's House - Where cousins go to become best friends." In this case, it should say "Nana's House." Our trip was full of sleepovers and laughter - meaning little sleep and much laughter into the wee hours of the morning. Sunday the 20th, we had all 6 cousins together and ventured out to take pictures. Mom had bought them all coordinating outfits, including hats and scarves.
Kyrie didn't want to stand there for long, but it was cute watching her run away and look back at the others like, "ha ha here I go again!'
Isabella - The Trendsetter. Sage and Eliza want to do what she does, wear what she wears, etc. She is spunky, independent, and a leader.
At times, they didn't know which camera to look at, and sometimes they were too busy looking at each other.
Eliza - The Talker. She never stops talking - telling stories, asking questions... She amazes me with how smart she is sometimes. Her easy going, friendly personality makes it easy for them to all "pick up where they left off" whenever we visit.
Audrey - The Queen Bee. She has the others wrapped around her little finger. She is bossy and usually gets what she wants - but that's because she's so loving and cuddly too.
Kyrie - The Baby. She is loved by all, cooed over, and cuddled with. At only 16 months old, she has such a great imagination already. She plays with all the cousins like she's a big kid - talking on the play phones, eating the pretend food and drinks, and playing baby dolls so lovingly.
This was such a great afternoon! All the kids were great, and pretty cooperative for us crazy "Mamarazzi." They loved being outside exploring together and even posing for pictures. I am so happy that they truly are best friends, and I only wish we lived closer (or at least visited much more often).
