This morning, Audrey and I joined some friends to go hiking at the Sweetwater Interpretive Loop. We had never been here before, and all the kids were excited about this awesome bridge at the head of the trail. It was an old road that has been replaced. The wild grapevine is beginning to grow all over the bridge, and some very large spiders now call it home. The trail itself, leads into a big open area surrounded by the mountains in the distance, but the bridge was a reminder of just how close we were to the big city. It makes me thankful to have so many great hiking trails, preserves, and parks to explore here.

Big smiles after a beautiful morning!
