Santa Claus is Coming to Town

We took the kids to the annual tree festival in Akron today.  They were all excited to see Santa first thing.  It was especially great because there was no line, and no photography company preventing us from taking the pictures ourselves.

Eliza told Santa she wants a pink trumpet, a play coffee set with mugs, and a toy for the bathtub.  Audrey told him she wants a doll.  Santa said its so nice to hear what the little ones tell him, since many of the big kids are asking for cell phones and other electronics - not looking forward to that day!

There were lots of beautiful trees to see, and Amanda gave each of the kids a raffle ticket to try to win one of the trees and lots of other goodies that came with it (like a flat screen tv, or tickets to Disney).  They got to see Frosty the Snowman too.  

We went back to Mom and Dad's afterwards and Dom watched all 6 kids while Amanda, Mom and I did some Christmas shopping.  They were all alive and well when we got back, so I guess everything was fine - thanks babe!  I got some shopping for my nieces done while we were there, so I could wrap them and leave them in Ohio without having to worry about shipping.
