Dodger Blue

The Dodgers came to San Diego this weekend to play the Padres.  We were excited to be able to go to the game this afternoon and we found the girls some t-shirts at Old Navy (randomly).  We have seen the Dodgers play the Rangers in Texas, and now we've seen them play in San Diego.  All that's left is for us to make the drive to LA for some games at Dodger Stadium.  At least then, the girls will be clapping for the right team when they join the clapping and cheering with the rest of the stadium.  Dom just rolled his eyes every time Audrey started clapping or dancing around when the Padres scored (7 times to the Dodgers' 2).  How could she help it when the music started playing and the majority of the fans were doing the same?  Eliza didn't get away with it though - she's old enough to understand which team is "our team."

Audrey and I waiting for the game to start.

Eliza was excited to be there.

Every Sunday is Military Day at Petco Park and this was the first of the season - sort of an "opening day" for Military Days.  Navy seals parachuted into the stadium and a Marine band played the national anthem.

Daddy and Audrey.

Audrey was happy going back and forth between Dom and I, eating fries and nachos, drinking lemonade, and sharing our frozen strawberry lemonade.  She didn't sit still through the whole game.

Dom and I after the game.  I think he's going to stop taking me to sporting events since his teams lose whenever I go - HA!
