This afternoon we went to Summers Past Farms with a few friends. We hadn't been there since November, so it was like going for the first time. (check out our last visit here). With the change of the seasons came all kinds of changes in the gardens. The colors were so vibrant and the fragrance of the wisteria made me want to stay forever.
Eliza helping Audrey over the footbridge.
The rooster was just hanging out on one of the patio tables when we first arrived.
Audrey loved talking to the bunny - Tink.
Eliza remembers our last visit and was totally at home as soon as we got out of the car. She knew right where to go for the sandbox, the footbridge and the children's garden. In this picture she is making her way towards the wisteria arbor.
Audrey liked sitting on this bench under the arbor. I love all the bright colors in the garden behind her!
The sweet peas growing on the fencing that made up the maze were really pretty - and tall. The maze was bare on our last visit and they will be cutting all of the sweet peas next weekend, so we wanted to be sure to see it before then. I am looking forward to the sunflowers that will bloom there in the summer.
We had snacks while we were there, and of course that was when I got the best smile from Audrey.
But I saved the best picture for last I think.
Beautiful girls in a beautiful setting! I'm so glad you guys are loving California so much - makes me want to come visit you!
