"Sledding"

Since we arrived in Ohio the week before, Eliza was so excited to go out and play in the snow. My sister and her family decided to go sledding on Thursday night, but my girls don't have boots or proper snow gear so I declined. When my dad got home, he took the girls out for a ride down their long driveway instead.

Dad stopped to fix one of Eliza's gloves. Audrey was happy to hold onto the rope for him.

Then they were off!






Dad got them going fast and let go of the rope so they could feel like they were really sledding. Audrey was done after that, but Eliza loved it.

We all walked back up the driveway, while Dad pulled Eliza up.

Then Dad took her over in the yard to a small hill and let her go down a few times.

Audrey - "It's cold outside." So we went back in.
