What Is A Cousin?

Eliza is very confused about the difference between cousins and friends. She loves Lloyd, Isabella and Sage! She knows they are her cousins, but also her friends. She has such good friends here in Texas too, and she wonders why they are not also her cousins. It certainly is a tough thing to comprehend.

Nonetheless, the confusion is far from her mind when she gets together with her cousins in Ohio. They all have such a great time together. Playing in the yard or play room at Nana's, going on a walk, or having a sleepover, they just squeeze out every bit of fun that they can.

Audrey pouts and whines to get her way a lot... here's Lloyd giving it right back. I just love this picture!

One of their favorite pastimes is performing on the "stage" at Chez Nana. Sage and Eliza were singing and dancing along to a song from Disney's Phineas and Ferb.

You can't play outside at Nana's house without getting the infamous Cozy Coupe out of the garage. Isabella and Lloyd were taking turns pushing Eliza and Sage around in the car.

Just about every Saturday morning, you are likely to find the whole family at The Cafe in Stow, or the Stow Cafe as all the regulars call it. Here are all the girls on the bench in the entryway before we went to the table. Isabella was "freezing." (Baby Kyrie made it for breakfast both of the Saturdays during our trip, but was not there when we took this picture. Lloyd was fishing).

Nothing like family traditions, new and old to make special memories with our dear cousins and friends.
