We were able to spend a few really great afternoons with my grandparents during our trip to Ohio. No matter how much time we have, it never seems like enough, but Eliza and Audrey really enjoyed our time there. Papa is going to be 90 in December, but he's a kid at heart! He plays with the girls just like he did with me when I was little, and they can't get enough. Grandma was much quieter this trip, but the girls didn't seem to notice as they playfully patted her on the head, "duck," during each round of duck, duck, goose.
Papa walking with the girls hand in hand up and down the sidewalk. Eliza is a terrific hand-holder, and it's even automatic sometimes when we leave a store. However, Audrey is much more uncooperative in the hand-holding department. I usually just have to pick her up and carry her, so seeing her hold hands with Papa just melted my heart.
Duck, Duck, Goose. Eliza always wanted Papa to be the goose. If he was sitting in between two people, she would skip him to say duck to everyone else and then go back.
He was such a good sport running around the backyard with her.
The girls are always drawn to the fountain in the backyard under the trees.
Just laughing and having fun.
Audrey was going around giving/getting kisses.

All ready to go out to eat.
On the last day of our trip, Eliza was very excited to go to the airport and to see Daddy. We were talking about Nana and Papa taking us to the airport, and Eliza said she wanted Great Papa and Great Nana to come too. When I explained to her that there just wasn't enough room in the car, she said that Great Papa could ride on the floor. Ha!
