Memorial Day at the Beach

We went to Coronado this afternoon to have some fun on the beach.  It was perfect outside for it - not too hot or too cool.  Eliza was excited to wear her new swimsuit and splash in the water.  Audrey refused to wear her swimsuit because she thought we'd make her go swimming if she did.

Eliza got wet a little at a time... she started on her feet, then her knees.

Audrey happily played with a bucket of water, her shovel and some sand.

Eliza doesn't need anyone else to get wet in order to have some fun!  She just splashed and splashed.

Somehow, Dominic talked Audrey into rinsing her hands off in the water.  She was smiling for a few minutes getting her feet and hands wet a little.  But it didn't last long, and she was running for the towel.

Eliza eventually just lied right down in the water and let the waves wash over her.  She was covered in sand when we left.

It was a great couple hours at the beach!
