The Darndest Things

Audrey: "Daddy, I love you."

Dom: "How much?"

Audrey: "2, 35"

Audrey: "Eliza, I love you."

a few seconds later...

Audrey: "Eliza, I love you."

Me: "Eliza, she's talking to you."

Audrey: "Eliza, I love you."

Eliza: "I know."
Me: "Well that's not the usual response..."

pause...

Audrey: "Awkward."

giggles all around.

Eliza took a quick shower with me the other day so we could all get ready faster.  Of course she has all kinds of questions about my body, that I won't go into... but she said,
"When I grow up I will look just like you right?"

Then when we were drying off, she said,
"Good thing I don't shower with Daddy, because he uses boy stuff." (ie men's shower gel, etc.)
As if that's the reason.
