It was so nice having both the girls at the same school for all the fun festivities this year! They took their costumes to school and got to change into them after lunch recess. I helped in Audrey's class, then ran over to Eliza's class to help her with her wig too.
The parade is always a lot of fun for the kids. They play halloween music, and the principal announces each class as they show off their costumes.

Audrey was so excited to have her face painted for all the evening activities.
Dom and I didn't go all out, but decided to dress up a bit this year too. My Wonder Woman shirt had a cape and everything. Dom was Ted Mosby as the hanging chad (from the show How I Met Your Mother).
We took part in the annual neighborhood parade with some friends. Eliza and her friend Lily even got to carry the sign this year - "The Kids of El Cerrito."
The gathering after the parade is always a fun time for the girls to hang out with more friends too. This is our 5th Halloween in this house, and we have been with Fiona and Anika (and parents Greg and Julie) for at least part of every year.

Eliza - happy to hold a friend's bow for a picture.
We went to the Wever's house for dinner and drinks after the parade. Lots of friends for the girls to play with made them almost forget about trick or treating... but not quite.
No trick or treating is complete without a stop at the castle house.
They got lots of candy and had fun. This was the first year that Halloween didn't fall on a school night, so we let the girls stay up late and have more fun at the Wever's afterwards.
Audrey's costume is amazing!
