Tide Pool Fun

Half days of school all week, means more time for fun in the afternoons.  Today we went to Point Loma to explore the tide pools.

Eliza finally got to wear her new rain boots.

They couldn't wait to start looking for creatures, Audrey is holding a little shell.

Climbing up to check out the crabs and little caves in the side of the cliffs.

Sassy

A big cave and 2 scary bears.

They had so much fun together!  Its always nice to go with friends, but today was nice with just us too.  One of the volunteers there, even showed us a moray eel that was under a big rock.  That is one of the coolest creatures we've seen in the tide pools!

Rain boots don't help when the girls go in the water too deep.  They had to stop and dump the ocean out of them before we headed back to the car.
