This traveling exhibit was a must see at the San Diego History Center in Balboa Park. Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss!?!
This was our first time at this museum, and the girls were excited. Audrey posed for lots of pictures, while Eliza was busy hanging out with her friend Brooke and checking out all the different areas.
It was fun for the girls to recognize some of their favorite characters from Dr. Seuss books. Each story had its own section in the exhibit with an activity for the kids. They made their own striped hats like the Cat in the Hat, Truffula trees from the Lorax, and decorated Christmas postcards for some less fortunate kids. There were magnetic story boards, and wooden puzzles with all the fun rhymes from Green Eggs and Ham too.
I enjoyed some of Dr. Seuss's early paintings and the stories behind them.
