When we went tidepooling a couple weeks ago, we heard from one of the rangers that there would be record low tides all this week. We knew we had to come back to see that, and we were not disappointed!
We checked out a knobby sea star up close.
Listening for the ocean (yes it was hard to hear over the waves crashing in from the actual ocean).
Another close up of a beautiful sea star.
Watching hermit crabs.
The girls had so much fun running, jumping, and dancing around.
Another guy there was holding this knobby sea star that was eating a mussel. It was amazing!!!
All these sea creatures had been collected by some other kids there.
The girls didn't touch them since the rangers had yelled at the boys, but at least we got to see them all. The one sea star was huge.
Surfing girls
Just being cheesy by this cave before heading home.
It was definitely worth the second trip within a couple weeks. There was so much to see and explore!
