Audrey Turns 4!

Another year, another birthday for my baby girl.  4 years old - sigh.
Audrey has blossomed into quite an outgoing, and often bossy little girl.  She rarely clings to me out of shyness anymore, but still loves to cuddle - to my heart's delight.  Weighing in at 30 lbs and 39 inches tall, she is still very petite.  She loves to play with friends, but is also quite comfortable playing all by herself.  Audrey's favorite colors are "all the colors in the world," and her favorite animals are elephants and giraffes.  She is still pretty picky about food, but has been trying more dinners recently, so I am hopeful that its just a phase.  Her favorite TV show is Doc McStuffins, and she loves giving everyone check ups.  Sometimes she gives me 10 or more in one day.  She wants to be a Mommy when she grows up, and she can't wait to drive.  Yes - you read that right!  She's counting down to her 16th birthday already!  She asks me all the time how long its going to be.

We went out to dinner to El Campesino for her birthday yesterday, but her party with all her cousins was tonight.  She helped me make the cake this morning.  She's been talking about her cake for months, and how she wanted a "real" cake, not cupcakes.  She loves pistachios, and I love pistachio cake, so it was an easy decision on what kind to make.

Licking the mixer clean.  Mmmm!

Her birthday party was a Spa Sleepover Party at Aunt Amanda's house.  We had pizza and cake and Audrey opened her presents.  Then we got the foot spa, paraffin, nail polish, and hair brushes out to begin the fun.

Blowing out her candles.

I was in charge of toenails.  Audrey loves getting her little piggies painted!  She messed them up on purpose and I got to do hers about 3 or 4 times.

Lloyd and Isabella helped with fingernails.  Kyrie was so cute with her little braids and pretty polish!

Aunt Amanda did hair.

Isabella and Mickey relaxing.

Then it was movie time!  All the kids got ready for bed - eye masks and all (part of the favor bags), then they watched Tangled.

Eliza enjoying some popcorn, and Audrey testing out her eye mask.

It was so nice and simple.  Everyone had fun and looked beautiful!
