Independence Day Festivities

We had another great 4th of July with our neighbors this year!  The day started at 9 with coffee, fruit, and lots of yummy muffins before the annual parade.  The girls were so happy to see some friends, and Dom and I had a great time socializing as well.

When I tried to get Eliza's picture, she decided to dance for the camera.

Ready to start the parade.  We had 2 fire trucks this year, and the police car.

Eliza's friend Alina from school walked with us - her family was there somewhere too.

Best buds!

The parade always pauses at the turn around point so the fire truck can turn around.  The kids didn't mind though - they all waved and clapped for the firefighters.

We went home for a bit, then headed back out to BBQ and hang out.  Like last year, there was a big water slide and lots of sidewalk chalk.

Audrey went a little overboard with the chalk.  We had to go back to the house and give them baths before the potluck dinner.  I love our neighborhood!

Look how different the girls look since LAST YEAR!
