This morning, we went to Eliza's school for a recognition assembly. We had received a letter from the principal letting us know that Eliza would be receiving an award.
She was so excited! Mostly about the donuts that were served afterwards, but she was happy when they called her name and she got to go up in front of the whole school.
Her award was for being a "Future Author." She has been writing all kinds of stories in her weekly journal.
I was so proud!
