Oh How We Will Miss All of Our Friends

Saturday May 29th, 2010
Bicentennial Park
Pantego, TX

Our friends threw us a going away party at the park. It was so nice to spend the day with so many of our good friends. We still have a little under 4 weeks before the move, so we were able to stay pretty upbeat about the occasion. Eliza and Audrey love this park and were happy to see all of their friends. Audrey really likes the seesaw there, and Eliza likes to "explore" all around the walking paths.

Audrey had fun walking all around the park as well.

Eliza having fun on the slide.

Riding in Megan and Katie's stroller with them. Megan and Eliza had so much fun exploring together.

Audrey was hungry early on, so Kristin broke out the goldfish for the little ones. None of them were happy about having to share though.

Alec and Logan are Eliza's two favorite boys!

When it came time to eat, Eliza was sitting as close to all the food as possible - and Lily

Saying goodbye is never a fun part of life, but these two girls hugging each other are so precious.

Thanks to all who came out to say bye. Thanks especially to Sherri and Felicity for putting all of this together. We will miss everyone so much when we leave.

Though we only take pictures of our beautiful children together, I feel so lucky to have met so many wonderful friends for myself as well. When we moved to Texas, we knew it would only be temporary, and that our plan was always to move to California. Little did we know that it would be 2 1/2 years before we moved again. I don't know what I would've done without everyone who has touched our lives while we've been here. We have been so blessed to find two great mommy groups, a wonderful church family, and many, many long lasting friendships. As we move on to the next destination, I will always look back at Texas with fondness.

(Also the dresses the girls had on were made for them by my good friend Sherri Kring! She even made them matching dresses for their dolls! Check out her website- http://www.chloeswings.com/)
