The girls painted ornaments earlier this week at Ceramicafe. They have been begging to get the tree up, since Thanksgiving, so we finally did it tonight.
Audrey painted the Santa, and Eliza painted the Angel.
Our artificial tree is looking a little pathetic, but we will be traveling for 3 weeks this year, and don't want to clean up a live one when we get back. Guess we'll need a new one in a couple years though.
I was so excited to have some special ornaments from Grandma and Papa's tree this year! Grandma has been in the nursing home for a couple years, and Papa has moved in with my parents and sold the house. He is happy to see the ornaments on our tree now.
So sad I dropped this beautiful Santa one, and the top broke. I managed to set it into the branches for now.
