Fall Soccer Wrap Up

The fall season usually ends before Thanksgiving, but this year we had a couple make up games so we are finishing up in December.  The girls and I all had a lot of fun!

The Brasil Rainbows had a winning season with 9 wins and 2 losses.  They showed so much improvement from the first game to the last and I was so proud as both a coach and a parent.  

Audrey was happy her best friend Isabelle was on her team, and the 2 of them were often hilarious to watch.  My favorite moment was when they were both on defense, the ball was at the other end of the field, and they were doing ballerina twirls in the dirt.  The ball came flying past them, and they had no idea!  They did both, at times, play really great though.  Their dribbling skills and confidence in themselves improved greatly over the season.  Isabelle even scored her first goal!

Audrey was so excited to get her first trophy!  She loves that it has a big star and the soccer ball spins.  When I told her this morning it was her last game, she decided she definitely wants to play again in the Spring.  She is not ready for it to be over.

The English Bulldogs had fun this season as well.  Their record was not great, as they had trouble getting the ball in the goal (5 goals for the season I think).  They did tie 2 games though.

Eliza had her first goal early in the season, and was much more confident in her dribbling skills than in past seasons.  She pulled the ball back out of a cluster multiple times throughout the season, and worked hard to pass the ball to her teammates.  Chloe was on her team again, along with a few others from her Brownie Troop.  She loved Coach Roger too!  He was so great with the girls, and they all bonded so well together.

This is Eliza's 3rd trophy.  I think she will play again next Fall, but may try something different this Spring.

These 2 had fun cheering on their big sisters at most of the games this season too!
