Merry Christmas!

As is tradition, everyone spent the night at Nana and Papa's Christmas Eve.  Adults and kids alike camped out in beds, on air mattresses, and in sleeping bags.

This year, the kids came down the back stairs into the new family room and got to eat breakfast before heading into the living room to see what was in store for them.

They came in youngest to oldest, and were all excited.

Audrey was so happy with her Queen Amidala book and bobble-head from Santa.

Her Snow Glow Elsa doll was of course the biggest hit though.  Santa did great for having no list to work with this year!

Eliza asked for Bouncy the FurReal Friends Happy To See Me Puppy multiple times, and Santa didn't disappoint.  She was very specific, and very, very happy.

Though the books she received out shined all the other gifts as always.  She also loved the Snap Circuits set Daddy and I got for her.

That is Audrey's excited look when she opened her Marble Run from Daddy and I.  It was one of the few things she asked for.

I was so proud of my girls for thinking more of others this year, and not asking for much for themselves.  They enjoyed watching Dominic open the gift they got for him, and they even wrapped their own gifts for each other this year (thank goodness for gift bags).  Audrey got Eliza a book about Rumpelstiltskin, and Eliza got Audrey an "Elsa" secret diary set.

I am extremely happy with my shiny, new computer from Dominic, and the boots I picked out from my parents!

We spent the rest of the day with all our family and I'm so excited Eliza is learning to play Progressive Rummy - the card game I grew up playing with our family.  Its the way I learned to play cards, and its been years since any of us have played.  I'm so grateful to Marshall and Keith for digging it up, and bringing it back.
