Today was Eliza's last day of 2nd Grade. She is more than ready for summer break - she did NOT want to get out of bed this morning.
She had a great year though. She qualified for the GATE program, she got Proficient or Advanced scores in all subjects, and she has learned so much. She's like a little encyclopedia sometimes, teaching us all things we didn't know.

They had their end of the year party on Friday - along with Hawaiian day. Mr Lerma got them all subway for lunch, and they got to watch the movie Escape From Planet Earth.
As is tradition, we got her flowers for her last day. I only got 1 this time though, because we are going out of town for 2 weeks tomorrow.
Let the summer fun begin!
