Beautiful November

We have been blessed with some gorgeous weather here in November, so we are taking full advantage by spending lots of time outdoors.  We went to check out the rose garden in Balboa Park on the first Tuesday of the month, followed by a visit to the Natural History Museum.  Audrey loves the scavenger hunts they have there in a few different exhibits.  The dinosaurs are always a hit, and this time we got to see a pretty cool exhibit on Mammoths.  Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures, but I had fun being in the moment with Audrey instead.

We went to the Water Conservation Garden to explore and let the kids play one morning.  Audrey had an extra day off school, so it was like a bonus play date.  She was happy to see her friend Bella who is usually in school on the days Audrey is not.  They had fun grinding acorns, digging for dinosaur bones, and running through the water sprays before we left.

We went back to Balboa Park for a scavenger hunt with friends on Veteran's Day.  This was our 2nd year doing this event, and its always great to see all the school age kids together having fun.

We did a hike at Mission Trails another day and had snacks in the amphitheater at the end.  Audrey and her friends love climbing on the rocks all around there.
