Check Ups

The girls both had check ups with the pediatrician and the dentist this month.

My poor Audrey decided she does NOT like shots anymore.  Her check up was mostly good, she failed the hearing test, but the doctor just assumes it was a mind over matter type of thing.  She's not concerned, but we have to redo that test again next month.  Her eye exam went great and she had a clean bill of health.  No worries about her size any longer (Yay!) - she is 40 inches tall and weighs 33lbs.  Then came all the needles... She had to get 4 shots, a hemoglobin test, and a TB test.  She was so brave and didn't cry until the 4th needle poke!  She especially didn't like seeing her blood when they had to collect if from her finger.

Her dentist appointment went great - no cavities and everything looks good.

Missing another tooth

Eliza's doctor's appointment was much easier.  She didn't need any shots and all is well.  She is 45 inches tall and weighs 46lbs.  She was talkative as usual and the doctor got a kick out of what characters my girls are.  

Her dentist had 1 fewer tooth to check on since she lost one of her front teeth on June 14th.  That brings the total up to 3, but the other front tooth will be out any day now too.  No cavities for her and she's getting her 6 year old molars in.
