Zoo Day

We were so happy to share "our" zoo with my family today!  Eliza had her half day at school, so I picked her up and we met everyone there.

We tried to see as much as we could.  We went to the Camp Critters Show with the sea lion, and some other animal stars.  Sage said her favorite part was the panda's, which I think everyone else agreed to be their favorite part too.

Eliza's favorite part was riding the sky buckets - twice!

We just love our zoo.  We got to see lots of the animals really close up.  I didn't take many pictures, since I have so many of the animals, and lots of zoo pictures tend to be the backs of the girls' heads as they look at the animals.

Mom took this picture of Sage getting stepped on my the giant elephant (statue).

We walked over to Balboa Park afterwards.

Eliza and Audrey were excited to show Sage the big alligator statue that they love to climb on.

Nighttime at Balboa Park is very pretty.

The fountain outside the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum.  We lucked out in that it just happened to be the first Wednesday of the month.  There are telescopes set up outside in the park to stargaze.  We got to see Venus, Mars, the Moon, and the Hubble space telescope!
