Old Town San Diego

Dom's dad and the family came down to visit last night and spend the day with us.  No school for President's Day, meant a nice, family Monday.  We joined them in Old Town to browse the shops and museums and enjoy the beautiful day.  We hadn't been back since our first visit (HERE).

The girls enjoyed La Casa de Estudillo with the great fountain in the middle again this trip.  They couldn't resist getting their hands wet while I snapped some pics.

Uncle Brian relaxing on the bench watching them play.

Audrey peeking through to see Daddy and Eliza on the other side of the big oven.

The girls had their first root beer floats at a store that boasted every kind of root beer under the sun.  It was amazing.

We browsed some of the shops and enjoyed the ambiance in the Fiesta de Reyes.  Eliza was wondering why she had to be the boy in this scene.

Aunt Vanessa, Eliza, Uncle Brian, and Audrey enjoying some music.

The girls love their Grandpa!

Checking out the stable museum was a new stop for us.  The girls ran through, oohing and aahing at the displays as they went.

As we headed back towards the cars, we couldn't resist the leather goods store with this awesome "Jessie" hat on the hat rack out front.

We ate at Lucha Libre for dinner and were not disappointed - gotta love a good burrito and fresh made salsas!  Shared some Boysenberry Apple Pie back at our house, before Rick, Gloria, and the kids hit the road.  Great day!
