Back to the Grind

I was back on my feet, and we were back to our usual busy schedule this week.  I love my life!  Lots of play dates, friends, and fun! 

We went to the zoo Monday morning for our playgroup tour (yes, before our trip to Old Town for those of you who are paying attention).  The tour was all about different animal tails, so we took a walk down the big cat trail.  There was a celebration for one of the orangutans turning 50 over the weekend, so there was a lot of extra stuff going on.  We left to meet up with family, but were able to meet the Koala out front first.

On Fat Tuesday, we joined our playgroup friends at the park.  We had King's Cake, made Mardi Gras masks, and let the kids play on the playground.

Audrey let her mask dry while she played, but just had to try it on before we left.  It was adorable!

Thursday we had a Pull-ups Potty Dance Party.  I had won it on houseparty.com, and invited a bunch of friends over with kids who are about ready to potty train.  Audrey practiced the dance ahead of time and was ready for her friends to come.  She was super excited about the blow up guitar too!  

Mommy got a night out with friends Thursday at our MMM 5th Annual Death By Chocolate event.  It was so much fun, and much needed!

Finally, today we had a great playdate with our neighbors.  The girls decided to have a little dance party, painted pictures, made some bird feeders out of pipe cleaners and cheerios.  It was lots of fun!
