The Christmas Season

We had a busy day today, full of Christmas activities.  In the morning, we went to the park to meet some friends and make reindeer food.

Eliza did hers with no help from me and was so proud to show it off.

Audrey put the eyes, nose and antlers on where I put the glue, and she enjoyed scooping the food in by herself.  It was oats and glitter.

Audrey's finished bag, all ready to spread in the yard on Christmas eve.

In the evening, Dominic came home early and we all went to the zoo for "Jungle Bells."

There were lights and various shows throughout the zoo.  The girls were very excited!

Daddy and the girls with the conservation tree.

"Santa."  This statue was down near the pandas, and the girls loved it.

We walked up to check out the polar bears, but they must have been sleeping inside.  The decorations were cute though.

We rode the Skyfari back to the front of the zoo, and saw lots of lights from above.

This was one of the girls' favorites, with Santa driving some animals in a car.

Under the big giraffe lights.

We watched an acrobatic performance with elves.

Audrey was all smiles while we waited to ride the cart around for a tour of all the lights.

There was a red light shining on the flamingos, so they looked really pretty.

It was such a fun night!  We grabbed a late dinner on the way home, and put the girls to bed way past their bedtime.
