Birthday Magic

Eliza and I sometimes talk about what we're doing each day as if we are going on an adventure. In today's adventure there was magic, puppets and a dancing bear. We hadn't been to a magic show before and it was a very special way to celebrate our precious friend Audrey's birthday. Eliza was very involved, and had so much fun helping Magic Mike. After the show, we had cake and played around for a while.

Magic Mike was showing Eliza what to do to get the rings together. Then he handed her two separate rings...

and when she let go of one of the rings, it was magically connected to the one she still held!

We all sang Happy Birthday to Audrey before having our cake.

After the cake, we all hung out to take pictures and let the kids play for a bit.

My girls knew it was almost time to leave, and didn't want to pose for anymore pictures, but I managed to get one of them with Audrey before we left. Unfortunately none of them felt like smiling.

It was such a fun party! So glad we were still in Texas so that we could be there to celebrate this year!
