Check Up Time

Braids!

Audrey is 5 1/2 today.  I'm not sure when her check ups got so off schedule, but today was the day.  She is 36 lbs (12th percentile) and 42 inches tall (25th percentile).  She had a clean bill of health with vision, hearing, and development.  The best part, we both agreed, was that she didn't need any shots!

Audrey is my little cuddle buddy and loves being close to Dom and I as much as possible.  However, she has grown so independent!  She loves playing with lots of different friends - leading the attack while playing Star Wars with the boys, or pouring the tea and dressing up with her girlfriends.

Firehouse Museum in Little Italy

She is proud of being strong and smart, not just cute (or modest haha).  I pray that her confidence continues to grow as she embarks on the adventure of elementary school this fall.

Audrey is learning to swim really well this summer too.  We were lucky enough to participate in a small private class at a friend's house and she is doing terrific.  She will take classes at the rec center again right before vacation, and she's so excited.
