Audrey's last year of preschool has flown by, and before I have time to blink she will be in Kindergarten (actually in 90 days). She had so much fun and loved every minute of her time in the Bees Class. They learned so much this year as they studied dinosaurs, bugs, outer space, pirates, construction, weather, trains, careers, and so much more. The field trips they took were wonderful learning experiences that supplemented the lessons in the classroom, and all the pets were such a great hands on learning experience. They had snails, fish, guinea pigs, snakes, a tarantula, lizards, caterpillars and butterflies, cockroaches, and more. They got to hold them, feed them, and even take turns bringing the guinea pigs home. On the last day of school, each child got to take home a snail too!
Her teachers, Ms. Cantelon and Mrs. Brownsberger, were fantastic! They were so caring and patient. For the last day, they even took the time to pick out a book for each student that was personal to them. Audrey of course got a picture book about Harry Houdini. She performed a few tricks for the class on 3 different occasions, and that is one of the things the teachers will always remember about her. They joke that when Audrey the Magnificent makes it big, they will be able to claim one of her earliest autographs!
Audrey's best friend (boyfriend?) Ethan.
She was sad to say goodbye to him, but confident in their plan to get married someday.
To see how much she has grown since the beginning of the year, check out THIS post from the first day of school.
