Eliza has a month off school for spring break since she is in a year round school. We wanted to do some fun things with just her during this time, so we have been making lots of plans. Today we dropped Audrey off at her school, then headed to Sea World to be there right when they opened.
We rode Atlantis (a combination water ride and roller coaster) twice. It was her first official roller coaster! I was so happy to get to ride it with her. I don't know who was more excited, her or I.
We also did Shipwreck Rapids 3 times. It is a white water rafting ride. We didn't even have to get off in between turns because there was nobody waiting. We had so much fun getting splashed and bumped around.
We rode the Wild Arctic ride (a magic motion ride), and got to see the Beluga whales, the polar bear, and the giant walruses for the first time. Then we did the Riptide Rescue ride before we had to rush back to the preschool to pick up Audrey.
It was the perfect morning for it, with the temperatures finally getting into the 70's after what seems like weeks of gloominess. We had so much fun!
Then tonight, Dominic took Eliza to see the Dodgers play the Padres at Petco Park. They had great seats, and really enjoyed it together. Eliza told me her favorite part was eating peanuts and ice cream. Dom's favorite part was Take Me Out to the Ball Game during the 7th inning stretch... singing it with Eliza and having fun cheering together throughout the game.
