Beach Day With Eliza

Eliza and I continued our adventures together over spring break by heading to the beach.  We had Flat Stanley with us from our friend Logan in Texas, so we took some pictures of what we would do together if Logan was really there to visit.

We went to La Jolla to show him the seals on the beach.

We walked down on the walkway to get a closer look.

Then we went down to the beach on the other side of the lifeguard station (away from the seals).  Eliza got out her new digging toy and started on a hole right away.

Then she got water to fill her hole so she could splash in it.

She went into the water to splash and collect some of the big mussel shells.

Got 'em!

The little waves coming in were lots of fun too.

The water was so clear there.

After collecting her sand toys from down the beach, we checked out our beach treasures and had a snack.  We had lots of sea glass, shells, and pretty rocks.  A sea gull happily ate our apple cores, then we cleaned up and went to pick up Audrey.
