Pool Time with Kyrie

After our morning hike, we had lunch at Nana and Papa's house, then headed over to Matilda's house to get ready for an afternoon swim.  Mom was getting everything ready for a big family reunion tomorrow, so we wanted to go do something out of the way - as if my 2 little angels would ever make a mess - HA!

There's a wading pool a few blocks from Matilda's house, so we put the kids' swimsuits on and headed over there to splash and play.  I didn't take too many pictures because the ratio of swimmers to non-swimmers was not favorable.  Even though the pool was shallow enough for even Kyrie to stand around the outside, its still hard to get your bearings when you face plant in water - not that we had any experiences like this... 

Eliza - "Look mom, Audrey's swimming!" as she stands up blinking and sputtering.

We had a great time playing in the water!  Audrey and Kyrie were happy to have little cups to fill and pour out over and over.  Eliza was all about "swimming" around on her tummy, hands on the bottom of the pool, feet kicking up sporadically - guess we should get them into swim lessons soon.
