Saturday afternoon we went to Mission Bay Park to fly our new kite. Eliza picked out one with a fish on it and a nice long tail. It was a little gloomy, but there was a perfect amount of wind for the kite.
Dominic got it going and then let each of the girls give it a try.

She loved it! She ran up and down the beach, happy and carefree.

"I got this Daddy!" She did so great... until she was done and she just let go! Dominic had to chase the kite all the way down the beach!
The gloomy weather didn't bother any of us for those few hours. We enjoyed each other as much as flying the kite. It was a beautiful afternoon as far as we're concerned. What fun!
We love flying kits on the beach, too! What a great afternoon!
