Happy 2015

Happy New Year!

I was so bummed to miss Amanda's big pajama party last night.  The girls and Dom went and had a blast, while I stayed at Mom and Dad's with the stomach bug that's been going around.  Thank goodness I am feeling so much better today though!  They came back from their slumber party with big smiles and I was so happy to see them!

We spent the rest of the day with family, ate our traditional pork and sauerkraut, played cards and did puzzles.  The girls have been having a blast with all of their cousins.

In 2015, we are so excited to welcome Amanda, Shawn and the kids to Southern California for 18 months!  They are coming when school's out because Shawn's company is opening locations here.  Unfortunately, he got placed in Calexico, which they have taken to calling "Hell's Sandbox," but we will see them much more than we do while they're in Ohio, so its going to be great!  We are already planning a beach camping trip this summer, and hoping to get in some road trips to Zion, the Grand Canyon, and the Redwoods up north as well.  

Dom and I really enjoyed all of our date nights last year, and hope to continue that monthly in 2015.  We also want to have more game nights with the kids, and get them out riding their bikes more often.

Horrible quality selfie that Dom took of him and the girls at the PJ party, but its better than nothing.  He said they went to bed around 2am, but Amanda had to go in and tell Eliza and Lloyd to stop talking and go to sleep just after 3am.
