Nothing Says Summer Like Watermelon and Splashing in the Pool

Eliza and I went to a play date this afternoon, just the two of us. It was so nice. We had a lot of fun hanging out with our friends. We ate watermelon and the kids played in the pool. Its almost a given that there is going to be some kind of water to play in when its this unbearably hot outside.

Eliza, Logan, and Miles thought it was fun to watch the water pour over the side of the pool when they stepped on it. Felicity got this great shot of the 3 of them together.

After the kids got dried off, we all went in to hang out in the air conditioning a while before heading home. Eliza loves playing with new toys, and since we haven't been to Miles' house too often, they were pretty much all new to her. We had such a great afternoon with friends, and can't wait to hang out more with some of the new ones we met too!

I was especially happy to come home to progress on the packing and getting ready for the move. Apparently, Audrey slept the entire time we were gone, and Dominic was able to get quite a bit done. Thanks Babe!
