The Magic Kingdom

We went to the Magic Kingdom on Wednesday morning. After parking we had to ride a tram to the ticketing area and catch the monorail into the main gate. When we walked inside, we were a little to the left of the Main Street USA area.

We walked around the circle to the street, and there was Cinderella's Castle at the far end. Eliza started pointing and getting very excited. It was a perfect start to the day.

As we walked closer and closer to the castle, we began to see a celebration or parade taking place right in front of it. We walked around looking at the floats and all the characters, and just to the left was Eliza's favorite characters...Woody and Jesse from Toy Story 2! It was a dance party in the street. We got out there and danced with them, and I couldn't help but tear up a bit. I had to wipe my eyes a few times, b/c I was just so happy seeing the awe and excitement on Eliza's face. We watched a performance at the castle with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and many more characters. It was about dreams coming true.

Then Eliza went on the teacups with Isabella, Sage and Nana. She was smiling from ear to ear the whole ride.

Next came the princesses... Eliza was a little scared of them, but we got her to sit with them and even a hug for Cinderella.  We got to meet Aurora, Cinderella and Belle. Eliza was upset that Ariel wasn't there, but the line for her was separate and it was over and hour wait just to meet her.

We got to see Minnie's house, and Donald's boat, then we went on the Buzz Lightyear interactive ride where you get to shoot a laser gun at aliens and stuff. I think Eliza was a little scared, but she said she liked it afterward.

She also was scared in the Haunted Mansion and the Pirates of the Caribbean rides, but again said she like them afterward.

She liked the Small World ride and the Jungle Safari Cruise. She was very excited to walk through Cinderella's Castle too! We ended the day with an electric lights parade and an amazing fireworks show. Tinkerbell flew from the top of the castle right over our heads! Eliza kept looking for her to fly again, she loved it!

She made it all the way through the monorail, and fell asleep in Dominic's arms while waiting for the tram to our parking lot.
