Sightseeing

Mom, Dad and Papa flew in from Ohio for a couple weeks and we had fun visiting all kinds of tourist spots in San Diego.

We started with the Carlsbad Flower Fields.

Such a beautiful place!  The girls had fun filling up little passports with stamps, and mom and I took lots of pictures.

Another day, we went to Cabrillo National Monument, and the Old Point Loma Lighthouse.  It was really windy up there!  The views never disappoint though.

On our way to Seaport Village for shopping and lunch the next day, we stopped to check out the giant kissing statue (Unconditional Surrender by Seward Johnson) and the USS Midway.  We didn't go aboard since there are probably too many ladders and steps for Papa.

I didn't always have my camera, but took more pictures on my phone as well...

We took Mom and Dad back to Point Loma to check out the tide pools one day.

We all went to play Mini Golf on a Sunday afternoon (Dom too, he was taking the picture).

We went to Ocean Beach and walked on the pier, ate lunch at the famous Hodad's, and did a little shopping.

The girls had a blast at Belmont Park!

Nana and Papa did too!  They rode the bumper cars and the Krazy Kars, the Yellow Submarine ride, and the carousel.  We ate ice cream and of course did a bit more shopping for souvenirs.

The last day we went to see the new Cinderella movie.  We all loved it!

It was such a fun filled 2 weeks!  I feel so blessed that we get to spend time with them.  It's hard living across the country.
