We went to Ohio for Thanksgiving this year. The girls and I went for 2 weeks and Dominic joined us for a few days over Thanksgiving weekend. We had a blast hanging out with my family and friends back home.
Eliza got to spend a lot of time with her cousins, and we all got to meet the newest little cousin, Jadie Nicole.
Matilda and Patrick got a new house this year, so we also were able to see that for the first time - it's really nice! It's hard coming home to so many changes, but I thank God that I am able to travel and visit family as often as I can. It means the world to me that my girls have been able to know their great-grandparents. Not many people have that blessing, and I am blessed to still have all 4 of my grandparents.
The holiday was great. Lots of family, friends, new beginnings (announcement of Matilda's first pregnancy), new additions to the family, and many, many awesome memories. I am so thankful for the blessings in my life on Thanksgiving and throughout the year!
