This was our first visit to this zoo, and Audrey's first zoo anywhere. We had a great time. We met up with some friends when we got there, then stayed longer on our own to see everything. I think we saw the elephants about 4 times because I was looking for the lions. At least the girls didn't mind. Audrey was watching the elephants for quite a while since they were pretty close and so big. The animals that were further away didn't catch her eye too much. the girls both liked the aviary with all the birds coming so close. Eliza even fed some of them some seeds, but chickened out when she had the chance to hold one. The meerkats were really active and very cute. Eliza told everyone that her favorite was the penguins. She was also very happy that she got to touch 4 animals, an armadillo, a goat, a horseshoe crab and a starfish. Very cool. The bald eagle is always one of my favorites, and one of the macaws actually said "hello" to us. It was a very full day, and the girls were both asleep by the time we got on the highway (about 4 or 5 blocks down the road). Definitely hope to go back with Dominic so that we can get more pictures of all of us. I mostly got the back of Eliza's head looking at different animals.
