Oatmeal

Audrey had baby oatmeal for the first time on Thursday evening. She wasn't sure what to do with her tongue and most of it kept coming back out each time I put it in her mouth. She seemed to like it though. She would open her mouth for more once she finally swallowed some of it. Then Friday she had some at lunchtime, and again in the evening. She was still pushing a lot out at lunch. When I fed her some later she was doing a little better but wasn't hungry enough to eat much. So Dominic fed her the rest when he got home. When I walked over he was giving her the last bite and it was a pretty big spoonful. I started to say ut-oh, that's going to come back out all over, but as I watched, she just took it in and swallowed it in one big gulp! Amazing how fast she caught on.
