Bridging To Juniors

Eliza has loved every minute of being in girl scouts this year.  She earned lots of patches and made new friends.  She made fun crafts, did awesome science experiments, and had fun camping.  Since she will be in 4th grade next year, she will no longer be a Brownie.  So today at our last troop event - Build a Bear - she got to bridge to Juniors.

She was a Brownie with all her friends, then she crossed the bridge, becoming a Junior.

Cindy got her some flowers and Junior Mints to mark the occasion, and she got to wear her new vest.

Saying the Girl Scout Promise.

Eliza made her new bear, Daphne, a Junior Girl Scout too.

Since the rest of her troop will still be Brownies for one more year, Eliza will be changing troops for the coming year.  Luckily another friend of mine has a troop of all Juniors, and welcomed us in.  Eliza can't wait to keep earning badges and having fun with new friends!
